WISHBOX
YOUR VIRTUAL CONCIERGE
Wishbox is a personal virtual concierge that was created for the use of holiday
apartment visitors. It is a one of a kind on-demand platform from which users can order a variety of services right up to their doorsteps, much like what they may have been able to do from concierge services offered at top hotels.
My Role
I was solely responsible for the UI/UX of the product. I had to think, research and come up with both the UX and UI design concepts and implement them. I provided end-to-end high level designs designs on all materials, performed usability testing and worked closely with the Product managers, R&D teams as well as with stakeholders.
The Process
Coming into Wishbox, there was already an existing product, developed by outsourced teams. After the founders decided to hire a whole new in-house team, we started afresh. Having learned from the mistakes of the previous version, we created new user flows and use cases, researched trending designs relevant to the Travel and Hospitality markets and began developing a new and improved product.

HOMIES
HOMIES is an mobile platform developed to solve the problem of finding new flatmates in a quicker, more efficient and accessible manner. A refreshing approach to the well known hassle of searching for people to live with, or in other words "finding new Homies".
FLATMATES SEARCH APP
My Role
Homies was a project I was able to join in on from its very beginning. I was very involved in developing the concept of the product and articulating the mission behind it. My role in Homies was to do thorough research and create the UI/UX concepts and implement them. I was responsible for providing the user flows, and use cases as well as end-to-end design ready for production. I did some QA testing on the product as well.
The Process
The process began with researching the market for both competing products, as well as existing platforms that provide a much different digital solution to the target audience. After recognizing the missing and problematic features in products already on the market, we were able to map out the architecture of the app and create a hierarchy of features. This was followed by creating the UX and UI concepts, and finally designing a high-level detailed interface.

SIGN UP
Homies is a platform that works in direct association with the users' social media communities from which the app draws connections to the immediate circles of friends and acquaintances that would then comprise the pool of candidate options for the user to chose from.
HOMIES CARDS
Homies works in such a way where there are 2 libraries of options. The first is aimed at the people already living in a flat and seeking a new flatmate and the second is for those looking to come into a new flat. Below is an example of the type of potential Homies Cards presented to those users looking for a new flatmate. They can either swipe right when they are interested in communicating or swipe left when they are not.

APARTMENT CARDS
These cards are presented to those users seeking to come into a new flat and therefore presented with potential flats whose already existing residents are seeking a new flatmate. They can swipe right for a listing that suites their needs or left to dismiss.

IT'S A MATCH
A match occurs when both the user searching for a new flat and the user searching for a new flatmate both swipe right on one another. At this point they each receive a celebratory push notification with the option of starting a chat.

PALETTE & FONTS
The design concept here called for a young and vivacious tone seeing as the majority of the users fall into the 20-35 age group.

ICONS & VISUAL LANGUAGE
These icons are used as badges that signify a particularly appealing aspect of the listing description.

Below is the full process of creating a new apartment listing start to finish. Beginning with asking the user if they want to create an "apartment profile" or a "potential flatmate profile", followed with properly describing the listing in thorough detail as well as adding pictures.
